The Fireside is a place of spiritual rest and contemplation where you can experience an emotional and physical renewal as you break away from the weariness of life. The Homestead is not a vacation resort but an intentional ministry that offers people a place to retreat, reset and heal. In our humble opinion, the winter season is actually the best time for rest. The beauty of winter and wonderful time spent in front of a cozy fire is unforgettable.
Love
In a world that is filled with hatred and evil motives, you will discover that the Fireside Christian Homestead will be a welcome place of shelter from it all. You’ll feel at home and experience love and hospitality during your stay as you interact with others.
Feel the Presence of God
The Homestead is intentionally set apart from the world and established as a special place of honor for God. We do not allow the distractions of this world to intrude upon our sacred relationship with our Creator or each other. Because the Fireside is only used for God’s purpose, you will feel the peace and safety here as God touches your heart with His love.
Healing
Much healing takes place here at the Fireside Christian Homestead. Emotional and physical, in both the natural and spiritual. Individuals have testified of unique places on the property where they have felt a physical touch from God. Some have witnessed total healings. Search out your place on the land where you can connect with God and receive a personal touch.
Fellowship
Spend time around people who are intentional about living their life for Christ, in a simple way. You may find yourself having a new perspective! You don’t have to feel trapped in your current life—there is another way to live. We broke away from the distractions and stresses of the common culture and are forging a new path to intentionally connect with the purpose and plan that God has for us.

Community Worship
During your visit, you are invited to participate in a daily morning devotion or evening worship and prayer in a warm, friendly atmosphere on the Homestead. In these gatherings, everyone can freely share what God is showing them and speaking to them.
Enjoy Nature
See God’s creation on a different level. Many people are moved emotionally by the overwhelming beauty of the landscape around them. It is a sharp contrast from the concrete-built world they are a part of. During your stay, you will become more aware of God’s presence and see the stark contrast between the natural and artificial.
Farm Fresh Food
: While staying at the Homestead, you are welcome to join us for lunches and dinners. The Fireside is working towards self-sustainable living, though we are not quite there yet. We raise and grow much of our own food. You can enjoy the health benefits of real food—we know you will feel different! Physical and emotional healing can take place when you feed your body good nutritious food without the chemicals and additives of processed foods. Not to be underestimated as well, is the fellowship we have as we spend time together at the dinner table!
Prayer & Meditation
Taking the time out just to focus on God can be challenging in today’s demanding world. The Fireside Christian Homestead offers a place void of distractions so you can connect with your Creator and get answers to life’s issues. The refreshing and renewal you will experience can continue even after you leave.
Homestead Involvement
Exposure to homestead life and living off grid is one of the benefits you can experience. You are also welcome to participate in the Homestead culture. Farming, poultry, milling wood and many more things are all opportunities that you could participate in. Pay it forward and be involved in something meaningful that helps to better other people’s lives!
Spiritual Guidance
If desired, the Fireside Christian Homestead offers spiritual guidance and direction tailored to your journey. You’ll find our answers will be a change from typical Church and cultural lingo as we offer Biblically-based guidance. You will feel the liberty and safety at the Fireside to open your heart so that change can happen.
